Indian Silent Healing Expertise Coming To Ireland

Father Joseph Bill, a Catholic priest from Kerala is coming to Western Ireland to lead a Silent Healing Retreat from 18 to 24 March. Fr. Bill focuses on healing the soul and mind before working on the body. He believes that physical healing occurs after spiritual and mental healing.

Fr. Bill hosts Silent Retreats all around the world, evidenced by his hectic schedule. In February this year, his 80th birthday coincided with a visit to Uganda.

Preventative Healing By Meditation And Other Stress-Management Techniques

Swami Chaitanya Keerti wrote an interesting editorial in today's Financial Express on the importance of meditation and other exercises, including deep breathing exercises, yoga, tai-chi and repetitive prayer in stress-reduction management. Using some or all of these techniques to manage stress leads to lower rates of heart attacks, strokes, depression and anxiety.

To keep the body physically and mentally healthy it is necessary to be balanced, in harmony with nature and to treat the body as a whole and not as separate parts. Swami Keerti argues that the wise people of the East have known about this for a long time. Relax!

Using Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing, Reiki And Meditation To Prepare For The Cricket World Cup

The Indian cricket team, hoping to win their first World Cup since 1983, are using several techniques to prepare themselves for the stress, nerves, fear and fatigue of the upcoming championship in the Caribbean.

Will this give India the edge to beat favourites like Australia and South Africa? International Cricket, with its intricies, is often argued to be more mental than physical. If the Indians have focused on the mental side and remain calm under extreme pressure, they may well be lifting the world cup at the end of April.

India's Healing Properties Are Well Known Across the World


Controversial UK Celebrity Big Brother star Jade Goody (pictured above) knows all about India's healing nature. Goody made a recent trip to India to be soothed and healed by some of India's spas following the furore over alleged racism against Indian contestant Shilpa Shetty. Let's hope the spas did their healing work and helped Goody back to spiritual health.
